Peter Ellis new Director of Finance.
		Leading independent security and commercial printer Smith & Ouzman has promoted Peter Ellis to the position of divisional director finance.
		Since Peter joined Smith & Ouzman, based in Eastbourne, as finance manager in October 2005, he has filed the company’s strongest accounts in its 60 year history with a turnover in excess of £10 million.

	Peter also has responsibility for the human resource and information technology departments. He has employed a new HR officer to enable more dedicated time to be spent on employee issues for the 100 plus strong workforce and he is overseeing the updating of Smith & Ouzman’s information communications technology system.
	Phil Ouzman, managing director, commented on Peter’s new appointment: “In the short time Peter has been with Smith & Ouzman, his knowledge and experience has brought considerable strength to our team. His appointment to this new position will allow him to participate in board meetings and play an even greater active part in our senior management decision making process.”
	Before joining Smith & Ouzman, Peter’s former roles included three years as finance manager at the University of Sussex and six years at GlaxoSmithKline Beecham.
